Thank you to the Elliot Lake Wildcats Hockey team! The team had two fundraisers for our chemotherapy department.
The pink light bulb campaign which took place in the fall of 2015 was one in which community members purchased pink bulbs and lit the outside lights of their homes in October for breast cancer awareness. The Wildcats also had a buck a goal contest for one full month of their scheduled hockey games. With the money raised we purchased two new reclining treatment chairs for patients and new blinds for the chemo room.
